  1. Hi, I am also having this problem. Last time this happened (before Christmas) it seemed to just randomly fix itself, but now it's doing it again. It's weird, because I have always had priced displaying with tax and every now and again it just randomly starts displaying without, which isn't good as I only sell retail, not trade. Any help would be much appreciated.
  2. HI everybody, I wonder if anybody knows a way that you can check whether a template is compatible with Smarty3 before you purchase it? I've wasted a lot of time, energy and money working on a template that wasn't and it's been a complete nightmare. Now I'm having to start from scratch and the place I usually get my templates from (template monster) tells me that their Prestashop templates are not Smarty3 compatible! This is despite some of the templates (not the one I was working on last time) requiring Prestashop 1.4.4x to run! Is this right? Can a template claim to need Prestashop 1.4.4x and not be Smarty3 compatible? Are there any other good sources of Smarty3 templates for Prestashop? Or is Template Monster just incompetent and doesn't know whether its templates are or aren't Smarty3 compatible? Is there some kind of tool that can check whether a site uses Smarty3 or an older version? Any help would be much appreciated. We'd really like to get rolling on this project. We've wasted so much time it's not worth thinking about! Thanks, Samantha
  3. I am also having this problem. It is preventing me from editing the default address format, so isn't showing up in invoices or mail alerts!
  4. I changed the permissions of my modules folder from 777 to 755, including all subfolders and files and it started working for me after weeks of trying to sort it out.
  5. Experiencing a very strange error on the product list pages since upgrade to 1.4.4. Page won't load fully and displays a loading image. The links all still work, but it's very off-putting for anybody visiting the pages. I've searched the forums and Google and can't find anything. Does anybody have any ideas? I have attached a screenprint for reference.
  6. I am also having this problem. I'm actually having so many problems with Prestashop really that I'm getting quite disheartened by the whole process!
  7. I also have the same issue and there doesn't seem to be any information on this anywhere. Can somebody please help?
  8. Hi there, I have searched the forums and Googles and haven't been able to find a solution to this. I would like to add a subheading to the category page which is separate from the longer category description (which I have moved to beneath the products). I want it to appear above the products but below the main category heading. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it? If there are any modules out there that could do this for me, that would be great. Thanks! Sam
  9. I paid nearly £50 for this module and it didn't help me in this instance. Kept getting the same errors. Hoping for a refund. Fingers crossed.
  10. Yes I have. It was working for ages with very large files up to about 150MB. But it suddenly stopped working for some specific files. I am toying with the idea that these files may be corrupt. Still weird though. And still not solved as of yet
  11. Thanks for your response. I am using that module and it does make things easier. Not really getting around this issue though Have just tried to upload a file of a larger size than the ones I have previously been trying to upload that I knew had already worked before. It uploaded and downloaded fine with no issues at all. It seems to be file-specific rather than related to anything else. This is so confusing!
  12. After a bit more messing about, I have successfully managed to prevent myself from being able to download any products at all. Good times. EDIT Have undone this disaster and am now left with the original issue. Just don't get why this is working for some files nad not others!
  13. I know problems similar to this have threads across the forum... and I have read all of them! I am uploading downloadbale products to my website www.buymagazinearticles.co.uk/test and the file sizes range from a few K to 150MB. I am using Prestashop 1.3.1.1 I changed the settings in my php.ini file to: upload_max_filesize = 200M ; post_max_size = 10M ; max_execution_time = 2400 ; memory_limit = 200M I wasn't sure where to put it so I put it in the root of the shop and in the admin folder. I have been using a workaround that somebody provided on another post and that has been kind of working although not consistently... this got around the issue of not being able to upload large files. However, when I went to download the files to test them, they wouldn't work. So I looked again... this time, I found a revised get-file.php file which I used to replace the one that was already on the site... problem solved. No issue! I was uploading and downloading 150M files, no problem. Now, for some reason unbeknownst to me, I am now unable to upload even 20MB files! Well, I can upload them, but even using the workaround, I can't get them to attach to the relevant products. Somebody on another post suggested adding the following five lines to the .htaccess file in the root of the shop and in the downloads folder: # Max size upload file php_value upload_max_filesize 200M php_value post_max_size 200M php_value max_execution_time 2400 php_value max_input_time 2400 But it doesn't seem to have made any difference. I am truly tearing my hair out and am willing to pay someone to sort this out for me if I can't find the answer elsewhere. Please help me out if you can The support on this forum has been amazing so far and apart from this issue I'm extremely happy with Prestashop as an E-Commerce platform. I have attached my get-file.php for reference. Thanks, Samantha BTW... this is the last entry in my error log: [Wed Dec 01 13:57:21 2010] [error] [client 82.47.220.60] PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 3407872) (tried to allocate 23904257 bytes) in /home/sites/buymagazinearticles.co.uk/public_html/test/get-file.php on line 339, referer: http://www.buymagazinearticles.co.uk/test/admin123/index.php?tab=AdminCatalog&id_category=5&id_product=108&updateproduct;&token;=215f627eac9f20d026a418d3bf3166df And this is a PHP Check http://www.buymagazinearticles.co.uk/test/phpcheck.php get-file.php
  14. I'm having huge problems uploading large files to my Prestashop shop. There doesn't seem to be much consistency as I have already successfully used a workaround to upload files that are 150M, but am now having trouble with files that are only 25! Figure it's something to do with the php.ini file, .htaccess file or both. Need help please!
  15. For more information, the page I get says: This web page is not found. No web page was found for the web address: http://www.buymagazinearticles.co.uk/test/admin123/get-file-admin.php?file=b434f1e73f9c0d35da4c0cd208a8abf769829d55 More information on this error Below is the original error message Error 6 (net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND): The file or directory could not be found. Thanks, Samantha
