  1. Went through that step as well, it seems overwriting the files worked
  2. After trying all sugestions and reading numerous posts and forums the end result is: Reinstall prestashop over current and viola! It works now. Thank you all for your help.
  3. There is a free modal called content box at https://contentbox.org/ I am trying to figure out how to trigger it as there really isnt any documentation
  4. Checked in Preferences > SEO & URLs : Set shop URL Here you can set the URL for your shop. If you migrate your shop to a new URL, remember to change the values below. Shop domain: http://someurl.com SSL domain: https://someurl.com Base URI: / The above is correctly filled out, after renaming the htaccess file: Still navigates to https//someurl.site there is no semicolon, and wrong domain. it's .com and not .site
  5. Hello all, so here is my conundrum: My back office works when I log in, and my urls and SEO info is all correct, but when I click on the "My Shop" button, it tries and directs to this: http//https//prestashop address.site/ it should be directing to https://prestashop address.com/ However, the back office directs correctly at: https://prestashop address/admin7y5wtdy337 Any one have an Idea of what to do to get it corrected?
  6. I have a dedicated server with 1and1, whom claim there is no caching going on, then when I asked a simple PrestaShop question, they didn't know the answer and made the statement "I don't know anything about PrestaShop, let me transfer you"'. The next guy didn't know anything, nor did the next. So the claim on both PrestaShop site and 1and1 is not exactly true I fear. Anyway, It started working again, then I put it back into maintenance again, then reverted and it took like 20 minutes to come back on. So to me, that says server caching. Anyway. Thank You for your help, it is now between 1and1 and I!
  7. PROBLEM SOLVED! While I was trying over and over to install Prestashop, I noticed in the corner of my eye that my girlfriends stupid cat was playing with the wires to the network. After investigating, I found that one of the cat 5 cable ends clip was broke off and the stupid cat (I dislike cats by the way) was making the cable connect, disconnect or something. Once I replaced the entire cable, Presto! Prestashop installed without a glitch! Results: Cat got thrown out of house, with me there shortly after.
  8. I did an SQL Query Search and found it, the value is 1, I switched to "0" and still no change, went back to database and back to "1" LMAO
  9. Ey tam, ya ne vizhu problemy vy predstavlennyye zdes'. Chto vy imeyete v vidu oni zagruzheny? Vy probovali khodit' v papku, chto izobrazheniye nakhoditsya i perezapisat' yego svoim? Translation: Hey there, I don't see the issue you presented here. What do you mean they are loaded? Have you tried going to the folder that the image is located and overwrite it yours?
  10. Hey guys, sorry for re-opening this thread, however, others resolve was not my resolve. any ideas left? Process: I put the shop into maintenance mode, was done doing somethings and wanted to show a friend how the shop was coming along. I put the shop back online yet the site is stuck in maintenance mode. What it does is says it worked, then when I navigate to elsewhere, it's again in maintenance mode. I checked the cache, all empty I tried again, then emptied the cache both in files and in the database... still no joy! See attached images below in chronological order: Here is the database cache tables empty: And now the cache files as specified: So, can anyone aid in a solution for this particular obscured problem? Thanks in advance, and please, I know I am new to this, if I errored in placement of my question, please direct me in the right direction. Again, thank you.

  12. Hey all, So I am not really rich at all and cant afford the 45.00 addon, so does anyone know how I can use my php, html, code and replace it with the current module, or am I going to have to learn how to build modules from scratch? thank in advance
  13. So, for 48 hours now, I have been searching the forums here and all across the lands of the www. However I have not found a solution to the DB error after it hits 12%. Which it hangs then gives the following errors: 1. An error occurred during installation... Can't create: xx_access, the table already exists. You can use the links on the left column to go back to the previous steps, or restart the installation process by clicking here. or 2. Create database tables An error occurred during installation... You can use the links on the left column to go back to the previous steps, or restart the installation process by clicking here. Randomly alternating between the two. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To answer your questions ahead of time: Yes, I switched database from 5.x to 5.5 Yes, I switched from InnoDB to MyIsam and back at least 5 times Yes, I verified php version yes, I contacted my host, by the way, whom says they know nothing about Prestashop. I said really? Funny how PrestaShop has you all over their website as a trusted host, funny how you even say on your homepage "experts in PrestaShop". So who is lying 1and1.com? Yes, changed apache parameters Yes, changes nginx parameters Yes, viewed .htaccess Yes, changed original database creation file in the data folder Yes, have been waiting patiently Yes, I think that the people of PrestaShop just don't care as long as most of you pay their fee to fix it, and they remove any solutions from the forums to continue to be commies about it.(this last part is IMO) Yes, I am fucking frustrated and now I think I am going to go try woocommerce out - not sure yet. Now here is the funniest thing of all, my 5 sites were working perfectly fine for 5 1/2 weeks, then this issue. Like WTF? NOTE: If I have posted an old issue, well, it isn't fixed and no one has made a query or response since December, 2014. I understand I am a noob, now ask any Joomla! Drupal, question and I have the answer. So be kind here guys and please either move my post to the appropriate area or in a message if you would please. Thank you in advance!
