Hello, thank you for replying. I am trying to install the most recent version: 1.7.0.4. I've attached a screenshot of how I create MySQL database on my hosting service. I had accepted the default of localhost:3306 which doesn't (in retrospect) seem right. I uploaded using FileZilla. Please let me know if I have provided what you are asking for or can provide more information. Thanks.

Please excuse another newbie-level question... I downloaded the software per the video in order to evaluate it. I began the install process and got an 500 error. I found https://www.prestashop.com/blog/en/the-500-internal-server-error-explained-solved/ and changed the appropriate line in config/config.inc.php to define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true);. I tried again and the error messages I got were the following (I've modified my actual domain names in the interest of privacy): Thanks for any help you can provide.
