Configuring the module whilst it is disabled also causes the cURL error, for me when I enabled the module it picked up cURL was installed on the server and got the three checks. Hope this helps someone.

I've managed to upgrade using the 1-Click, but had an issue where the little loading arrows on the main BO screen just keep spinning, do enabled debugging but now get a load of errors on different BO pages like: However this directory doesn't exist when I check in cPanel? OK, cPanel has (thankfully) got JetBackup, have restored both the site and database from the same date, BO is now showing v1.6.1.7 again, FO is working again too

I downloaded two backups from cPanel just in case, will take a long time to upload as around 1.8gb. Will restore the back ups of the home directory and and database and see how it goes.

Hi, I followed the steps set out here: https://devdocs.prestashop.com/1.7/basics/keeping-up-to-date/upgrade/ I've got to the point where I have to run "http://<shop_domain>/install/upgrade/upgrade.php" (I don't have access to run script in cPanel so doing via web browser), so I've tried this twice now and both times I get a long error message which begins: I've attached a .txt of the complete error. I've tried with both the http and https but still the same result, what should I try next? I'm also not able to view my FO, I get a HTTP ERROR 500 message, but I can access the BO after renaming the "install" folder. Just to follow up on this, I think that the issue was a browser update which then caused the module "Browser tab notification" to give a JS error. An update for the module became available soon after, however I had to uninastall and re-install the module to resolve the issue completely. All ok again for now...

The post code field now disappears when Smart Cache for Java is enabled

@orion246 how odd, I went through similar steps until I disabled smart cache for java as recommended in a different post, then I re-enabled the modules and all is fine again. I don't understand why it just happened when smart cache for Java has always been enabled! And why only the Post Code field? @bellini13 probably not, as I haven't made any changes recently or installed any modules.

I'm on version 1.6. Yes I mean the setting itself, I'd like to set the option to "No" for all countries.

Is there any way to bulk change the "Display tax label (e.g. "Tax incl.")" setting for all countries? Localization > Countries > Edit Country

Performance > Advanced Parameters > Smart cache for JavaScript "No" fixed this for me. I don't know why it just decided to stop working???

Just looking and the option is there in the BO if I wanted to manually add the Post Code:
