  1. Is there a Free module available that will allow me to edit categories in bulk? I have over 2k products and i am re-arranging the categories that products sit in, at the moment i am editing each product manually but it is laborious. I have seen modules that you can buy that might do this however i am wary, have bought themes from a developer in the past and then when the core software is updated they decide not to upgrade the theme leaving the cart insecure and us out of pocket.
  2. I have a problem that on each product listing under the price and above the short description it says "Tax Excluded" We don't want to charge tax as that will all be taken care of by our accounts software. I have gone into Tax Options and turned off Enable Tax, Display tax in shopping cart and use ecotax however the "Tax Excluded is not removed. What have i missed
  3. I have used the google sitemap plugin to generate a sitemap however the links it is generating do not work. one of the links it generates is however if you try to visit that page it returns a 404 error https://www.boundarycarcare.co.uk/shop/construction-sites/9-now-entering-designated-area.html The actual URL when i search the shop for that product is https://www.boundarycarcare.co.uk/shop/index.php?id_product=9&controller=product&search_query=9-now-entering-designated-area&results=34 I am presuming i have an error with how the urls are configured but can't work out how to change it to show the clean url so that it works. Can anyone help?
  4. Ok, I kind of worked out what stopped the website scrolling, I had turned on SSL. With SSL turned on but enable SSL on all pages turned off i can scroll pages as normal but as soon as I go to the checkout the page will not scroll as it goes to an SSL Encrypted page. With both options turned on no pages will scroll and with both turned off the site works correctly. Has anyone any experience with this before? Could it be a badly installed SSL Certificate?
  5. I have been changing some settings on my Prestashop after transferring it to a new host. One of the changes has stopped the front end from scrolling. Has anyone seen this before that could point me in the right direction. It is almost as if the header and menu are now in a different frame from the content.
  6. ok thanks for that, we have added pictures to all categories and are currently going through SEO. Sill no purchases.
  7. Our website is attracting visitors and we have around 60 abandoned carts ranging from around 20 quid through to the hundreds. Something is stopping people purchasing and I am hoping you can point us in the direction of why that may be. Some of the abandoned carts have even gone through customer registration though not many. If possible could you take a look at the site and maybe point us toward what is stopping customers purchasing? shop.suttonpetsandexotics.co.uk Kind Regards Paul
  8. Maybe didn't explain it very well when someone clicks on a main category i would like a block of sub categories to show which the user can then click on
  9. At present, when someone visits the website a drop down menu appears for them to select a category to view however if they just click the main category button on the main menu it brings up a page stating that there are no products in that category. How do I change that to show the sub categories if a customer selects the main category. shop.suttonpetsandexotics.co.uk
  10. We are planning on using a single carrier for delivery next day at £4.95 for any size and weight. We have 1 category which is reptile live food that the courier will not take and pricing needs to be different for. Is it possible to add a second courier that will only become available if a product from a specific category is available. What complicates matters is if a customer chooses an item from category 1 and an item from the live food category then we would need to charge both shipping fees. An alternative would be to only allow live food to be purchased on its own with a message popping up stating that if a product is already in the cart from another category or one is subsequently added. Would this solution be viable? Why cant it just be simple, build cart, add products and sell?
  11. Superb thank you, another thing ticked off the list
  12. Great thanks for your responses the developer has logged in this morning and resolved this for me. I had considered FTP into the site and deleting the module but was unsure if that would do further damage.
  13. I am currently working on a new shop, first time I have used presta shop after deciding to move from woocommerce and I am finding learning the new software quite challenging. Anyway, I am trying to edit the footer on this site shop.suttonpetsandexotics.co.uk Its the store info I wish to change but can't for the life of me find it. All help much appreciated
  14. Purchased this module to try and aid image upload from CSV File http://addons.prestashop.com/en/5553-multi-image-changer-uploader.html Installed it and got this message [PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file :/var/sites/s/shop.suttonpetsandexotics.co.uk/public_html/modules/inixframe/InixModule.php: Access level to Inix2Module::displayWarning() must be public (as in class ModuleCore) Now whenever I try and access modules and services from the dashboard menu i get the same message as above every time. How can I get in to turn is moduleoff?
