  1. Hello, thanks I tried everything I've found in that thread but I still can't save it. When I check in incognito mode or with another browser the field is blank, I then type in the password, click on save and it's blank again. All the other fields work.
  2. When I fill in the details of my smtp server to send emails and click on send e-mail I receive the test mail. But when I click on save it does not store my password and the e-mails don't work. This is on version 1.7.8.7 How it should be: When I click on save:
  3. Hello, Everytime when I'm in the back-end I select 10 products to remove with a bulk action, I get the loading bar and then all of a sudden get a HTTP 500 error and nothing on the site works anymore. Then I need to manually rename the var/cache folder so a new one gets created and then the site works again. Anyone else has this problem? I'm running the latest version of PS.
  4. Hi, Thanks, I just did: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/BOOM-6031 I hope I'll get a solutions soon...
  5. Hi, I downloaded and installed Prestashop 1.7.4.1 and installed it on my server. Installation goes ok but then when I want to go the the front end it looks like there's only HTML loaded (see screenshot). The back-end is fine though. I read about simiair issues that got solved by disabling and then enabling again the friendly URLs but that did not fixed it. I tried multiple cache solutions I've read, none of them worked. I did a clean re-install again same issue. I then downloaded prestashop again (thought maybe something got corrupt during the download), and installed it on a DIFFERENT server that has multiple prestashops 1.6 running and again I get the same issue. When I open the console it shows 404 errors but those paths exist. After I stopped using prestashop for almost 2 years I thought to give it another go since it's a great ecommerce platform but we're off to very rocky start again...
  6. Thanks for the respons! When I create a new account I don't really have those option. First part are the personal details, and then below I have company information, some fields like SIRET and APE. I have no idea what those are. But nothing to add VAT number. I've added a screenshot.
  7. Hello, There are plenty of topics regarding VAT questions but I didn't really found a solution for my problem. The company is located in Belgium and also delivers to the Netherlands, France and Germany. They deliver to regular persons without a VAT number, so for them, their order will always be with VAT, doesn't matter which country they are from. But if the buyer is a professional with a VAT number, the order will be without VAT if he's from NL, FR or GER, and this is the part I can't seem to configure correctly in Prestashop. Do you as a client need to edit your account to add a VAT number, so the shop recognizes this?
  8. EDIT: Found a solution. If I just upload an image under category thumbnail (together with whm90's fix) it works like I want. Hello, I've added your solution wmh90 and it works so thank you. But I have another question, now you need to add an image for the cover. But what do you need to do if you only want the thumbnails? I only want the images shown when you click in the menubar on a parent category. When you know click on a subcategory I don't want the cover displayed.
  9. Hi, I was able to fix it after do a complete re-install. I removed the Prestashop and theme and just did everything again. This fixed it for me. Let us know if it helps or not.
  10. Hello, I have the same issue. The theme is installed and used. Then I click on import sample data, I select all the files. All 190 items are uploaded successfully. But then I can't click on the green install sample data button (see screenshot).
  11. Hi, I'm encountering some problems with logging into the back-end of PS. So I installed PS (1.6.1.2) on a server, install went fine. But now when I want to log in it keeps saying the employee doesn't exist or that the password is wrong. I was 100% everything was correct. But still, you never know. So I went to the database and changed the password in the employee table (with the cooky key). Problem remained. After that I removed the Prestashop completely from the server, downloaded it again and installed it again. But the problem remains the same. Anyone with an idea to fix this? I've had this issue also before in the past with other prestashops but then changing the password in the database always did the trick.
  12. Thanks for the SQL command, worked like a charm and saved me a lot of work! Used it in 1.6.1.4.
