  1. Is there a way to remove this IP from my statistics?
  2. I noticed this morning that I had a huge surge in visitors to my site, but they were all from the same IP and went to page not found. Having looked up it IP I assume it was some one trying to brute force the address of my admin page. For the moment I have blocked that IP and it seems to have stopped for now. Is there a way to prevent this not only for the security, but it also screwed up my statistics. Thanks for any help or advice Phil
  3. I have just update my catalog of products using a csv. I then noticed that despite being blank the quantities in my warehouse doubled. Does this field need to be filled in with 0 to avoid this? I notice in adminImportController.php the default is 'quantity' => 0, So just want to know if this requires a value. Phil
  4. Yes in phpinfo i see 100MB for both and have set the same in the prestashop installation.
  5. Ok so I have got my store ready to and now want to create a test environment for my shop. The production site is on a hosted server and there is plenty of space for a second test environment. My question is what is the easiest way to go about this. Also does anyone have an idea if the are any good automated backup solutions that will let me copy a daily backup of the database and files to my local network from the hosted server. Many thanks Phil
  6. Ok I have read a lot of posts about this. Trying to upload a new theme to my Shop and I keep getting the Upload limmit is 8MB. I have changed this in both my php.ini file and also in the Adminisrtation>Preferences in the BO to 100MB So where is this limit coming from, and why is the not more detailed information in the error message. Phil
  7. I have configured and set up my shop and am ready to go live. But I want to get rid of all the stats created during testing. I turned of demo mode right after the installation. However I just now check and based on the "visitors" , browsers, and OS used my stats are all wrong. Before I go live I want to clear everything and go from zero. Can I do that from the BO? or do I need to do this in the database? Many thanks for your help Phil
  8. I have tried that, but even there I would have to calculate each pries seperately to fit the exchange rate.
  9. Hi I am using PS 1.6.1.6 I have downloaded and installed the module. However when I put in the embed code for a youtube video and and click "update the editor" I get a 404 page not available error Any idea if this works in this version of PS
  10. Ok thanks for that. I will probably go the multistore route then. Many thanks, Phil
  11. For Example I have 1 Product that for buyers in switzerland costs 28 CHF (Francs) and to EU customers it should cost 35 Euros, While another product in switzerland costs 39.90 CHF and 56 Euro. so product one is using a rate of 1.25 and product 2 a rate of 1.4. So just using a conversion for this won't work as some Euro prices would be too high and others too low.
  12. Not all the price differences would work out with a single exchange rate, so that is not a solution that would work for me. What I want to do is manually set each product price in each currency. I don't know if this is possible or not. Or if i would need to use multiple shops for each currency.
  13. Hi I am wondering if it is possible to set fixed prices in other currencies independent of the exchange rate. I am based in switzerland but when selling to EU countries I would like to display the price in Euros, however we have a different price for the EU not dependent on the exchange rate. Is this possible., I am using PS 1.6 Thanks for any help Phil
