  1. Hello, I have an issue with a Sub-Total Incorrect and have attached a pic. The actualy total is still right but it'll cause some confusion when people are trying to order. Anyone have this issue and know how to fix this? I should also mention that there are NO taxes set up. Any help would be appreciated!
  2. I'm wondering if anyone else has the same issue and knows of a workaround.... I have multiple attributes on one item with a customizable field. First off, I have a "Sub-Total" Issue. I make the inital product for $20.00. I proceed to save the customizable text field and then proceed to add the applicable item to to the cart. When I checkout, it will say $19.00 for the item and no price is attached to the customizable field and the total says $20.00. It's the $19.00 subtota I am concerned there will be some confusion on. I have no tax associated with my cart at the moment, so it should be dollar for dollar. Also, When someone checks out one item and chooses their attributes and adds to cart, I want them to be able to go back in case of a mistake, they change their mind, or they want a duplicate of the same item with different attributes but even when you remove everything out of your cart, and the person puts in the same text on the Front Office Customizable field (such as a name of a person) it brings up the old attributes along with the new corrected item and there is now 2 items in the cart instead of the one. Basically, a cache type issue if you type in the same name you had in their previously, however, it's not a browser issue as I've deleted mine clean and it still has the same problem. I assume though that one you "delete items from cart" that it should be removed for good? Is there something I'm missing? Hope this makes sense!
  3. Solved: For myphpadmin: Open myphpadmin from your database Datbases from myphpadmin Select your Database ps_currency (on the center of page, not on the left menu) Browse Edit for "Dollar" Change USD to YOUR COUNTRY ISO CODE Make Sure Save button is on Press GO Do not change anything else Now I had already deleted the other currencies and am only using these settings in the BO. I only need one currency for my shop. PayPal for Currency, Shop Default Currency, Group Restrictions Default, It seems paypal likes this setting, so far, let me know if there are any issues. I don't think it solved 'the issue' but is solved "my issue"..haha Blah!
  4. I also noticed this was posted as a bug a month ago. Anyone have clue? http://www.prestashop.com/bug_tracker/view/1469/ I looked under myphpadmin and found this field "deleted". under ps_currencies. I can't say that I know too much about this but have attached a few pics with the field contents. Is this correct. I assume this is what's being referred to? Again, any help is appreciated and not sure if this is correct?
  5. I could be totally off base and am seriously no expert, however, if your running a shop online and customers will be typing in WWW, it's just as well to have it, why bother taking a chance that something will screw up with redirection. Really a non-issue for me. Shared SSL means that your store will run using two domains your master domain name and shared secure domain which may be used by other customers of your hosting company. Dedicated SSL means that you will have your own SSL certificate which enable you to run your store on one domain using http and https. e.g. Shared SSL: Master Domain: http://www.example.com Shared Secure Domain: https://secureexample.com/username Dedicated SSL: Master Domain: http://www.example.com Secure Domain: https://www.example.com Most people prefer to use dedicated SSL as it looks more professional and can improve customer confidence If I'm reading this right and many times I'm not, it doesn't sound like you have a dedicated SSL. I "hope" this heps.
  6. Hey All, Thanks for the help thus far. I'm just getting around to testin my paypal with the items on my shop. I noticed that Payal was calculating in USD. I went to change the iso code in the payment, currency tab and editing US, however, it is saying "..the field deleted is invalid". It's CAD i'm trying to put in there, I've looked everywhere and it seems to be the right code. Am I doing something wrong or is there somewhere else I should be going? Thanks! Just for your infomation, I had already tired to create a new currency and it did the same thing...
  7. I may be blind but: Where do you change the "About Us" information and how do you had a picture to this? While I'm thinking of it, can you add an additional web pages attaced to the info category that will use the same tempalte desgin as the orginal? (just like about us or terms use just more pages to edit information and pictures? i.e. for Shipping, Gallery Pics Page, etc. It's late here, I hope this makes sense!
  8. Update: I called my hosting provider, they have said that "You are not allowed to change this folder type". Does this make sense? I know that this may seem like on odd question BUT I had asked someone on here for some help and the first thing they let me know is they couldn't change the WWW folder permission and to contact my hosting provider concerning this error? It almost sounded as if it was some sort of requirement but not sure how. Anyway, Help would be greatly appreciated. Permissions on WWW/ Folder, is it necessary? if so, when? Again, I know it sound dumb, whatever!, "C'est la vie"!
  9. Alright, It seems I have the permission settings down with the exception of one. I believe my host screwed up by putting a chmod "756" on my .com folder. I changed it to 755 and it cleared up one or two issues. I have since checked the WWW/ Folder and it too has a 756. What should this in fact be set at. It stands to reason that if the other folder I changed to 755 helped, that this would help s well. The issues I have is that the folder will not take a 755 chmod via FTP and I have to call it in. Just wanted to know what I should be asking for since the hosts obviously dont' like to help too much, especially with open source that's not their own!
  10. Hello, I see it on the Front Office. When I go to the category I created, it'll will go to the page with the subcategory but will give this error in replacement of the info. (SubCategor Title, Image etc.) Thanks
  11. Hello, Just wondering why this would come up after I try to click a newly made category?
  12. Thank Goodness someone else is having this problem. If you find out why these fields resets to Zero let me know.
  13. Hello, I've repeatedly asked for help on the issue and have come to the conclusion I must be doing something wrong! Is there someone from Presetashop who can set this up from scratch for me? SVN if it's at all up to date because I imagine there are more bugs fixed on SVN? What I really require is someone to not so much to install it, although it would be much appreciated, but also add a test product (with Internet Explorer 7) and show me that the customizable fields actually work. I've got my root folder completely free and ready to upload and my web server info ready if someone wants to give it a shot from PrestaShop. After installation of orignal 1.1 and/or SVN, I was getting database connection errors and not sure if this is still happening. I think after I was playing around with the customizable fields it would give me database connectivity erros. Anyway, You can pretend your me and anything you need to contact my host provider with. I'll give you all my info, I just need to know if it's me, my provider, or prestashop that's the issue. I'm so distraught, I think it's because I just want to be as up to date as possible and actually require the customizable fields tab in what I'm doing. The orignal 1.0 was actually working fine for me, for what it did, but then I tried to upgrade and everything went south.
