  1. Hello, Recently a forced php update messed up our website, and attempting to update Prestashop resulted in numerous layout problems and issues. Upon rolling back to the previous version, the shop is stuck in maintenance mode! I was given advice on how to allow compatibility with older php commands by adding a command to .htaccess. After adding the code, and adding my IP to the maintenance list, I can see that the command added to .htaccess has indeed eliminated the errors we were experiencing, however I cannot get the site live again. I have read existing forums in hunting a solution, and saw numerous references to looking for PS_SHOP_ENABLE duplicates within ps_configuration and that eliminating them should resolve this. However, I have confirmed that there is only one PS_SHOP_ENABLE and it's value is already 1, indicating that the site should be live, however, if I remove my IP from the list, I see the maintenance page. UPDATE: I got it working. Apparently there was a redundant PS_SHOP_ENABLE command with the value 0 within the database, it just took further searching to find it. Upon elimination of this command, the website is now working flawlessly.
  2. Hello, Until recently, we were running Prestashop 1.5.1.0 without issue, but after our webhost rolled out a forced PHP update, our website started generating errors and many functions were broken. After receiving little help from them, I attempted to update prestashop to 1.6.1.3, which eliminated the errors, but left our website in worse shape by re-positioning all modules at the bottom of the page which required excessive scrolling just to view. I was unable to move them into place either through hooks or through live-edit, and after struggling with the problem, eventually rolled back to 1.5.1.0. Now, despite the fact that I've re-enabled the store, and have re-enabled the webservice, the website seems to be stuck in maintenance mode! It is not a browser cache issue, as I was able to get the same result on my smartphone, which had never previously been used to browse the site. This leaves me with two questions: 1) What other steps are required to get the website active again, aside from enabling the shop and enabling webservice? (No the multi-shop function is not used) 2) How can I maintain the module positions from Prestashop 1.5.1.0 when upgrading to 1.6.1.3? I also tried an upgrade to 1.5.6.3 but the issue remains the same. On a positive note, I did confirm that the new prestashop versions work with the newer PHP our webhost has forced upon us, so if somebody knows how to retain the module positions then the upgrade would be the solution. Being stuck in maintenance mode only appears to occur when rolling back to 1.5.1.0. Thanks in Advance for the help.
