  1. Hello, Is it possible to get the Ajaxcart working properly in Prestashop 1.7. Currently if set to YES the Ajaxcart works correctly, but if set to NO it doesn't work properly. I want it to be able to work correctly in both the YES and NO options. I have found the following workaround for making the cart work correctly when the switch is on NO, but it causes problems when in the switch is on YES. if (resp.modal) { showModal(resp.modal); } changed to if (resp.modal) { window.location.href=cart_url; } With this it does go to the Cart Summary page, but if you put the switch to YES it loads the Ajaxcart for a fraction of a second then goes to the Cart Summary page, which is not what I want. If anybody can help with this problem it would be appreciated. Thank you. Kathy
  2. Hello, I installed and tested my module with 1.7.7.6 and it worked fine. I then removed the 1.7.6.7 version and re-installed it and it is now working fine. Thank you for all your help. If I need any paid assistance I will contact you. Thanks Kathleen
  3. Hello, Thank you for your reply. I did what you suggested and got the following error. 'Uncaught Reference Error Onboarding is not defined' The version I am testing on is 1.7.6.7. So I installed and tested on 1.7.6.6 and 1.7.3.0 and it works fine on those versions. I am only experiencing the problem in 1.7.6.7 Thanks for any further help Kathleen
  4. Thank you for replying to my problem. Can you elaborate, I don't understand what you mean. I am a novice here and need you to explain it a bit more. Also, it is in the configuration of my module, not a controller. I don't understand why the mColorPicker is working, but the Switch, and Tree are not working. Surely if there is a problem, none of the Helpers would work. Thanks Kathleen
  5. Hello, Can somebody explain to me the requirements for: type_categories name_category that are found in the following: array( 'type' => 'categories', 'label' => 'tree categories', 'name' => 'type_categories', 'tree' => array( 'root_category' => 1, 'id' => 'id_category, 'name' => 'name_category', 'selected_categories' => array(3), ), ), The reason for my asking is that I am experiencing a problem with the category tree in my custom module. When I make a selection by clicking the checkbox, the blue tick shows, but when I click the save button the blue tick disappears, however the selection temporarily works. Additional Information; The Switch buttons are also not working, but the mColorPicker is working. I am using Prestashop 1.7.6.7 Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Kathleen
  6. Hello iAshton, Thank you for replying. I am having trouble understanding what you mean, but I will try your suggestion. Kathleen
  7. Thank you for replying to my post, but I want the official bug fix for this problem, or I will not upgrade. Kathleen
  8. Hello, I decided to upgrade my 1.6.1.10 version to the latest 1.6.1.24 version. Naturally I decided to use the 1-click-upgrade. I had to do an upgrade to the latest version of the module before proceeding, but guess what happened, the following Fatal Error Message. [PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file :/home/msmedia/public_html/modules/autoupgrade/upgrade/install-4.9.0.php: Call to private method Autoupgrade::registerHookAndSetToTop() from context '' The install was for version 4.11.0 but this error is referring to 4.9.0. I was completely shut out of the Modules and Services, so I had to rename the autoupgrade folder to get back in. I did a search for a fix, but could not find one, which I cannot believe. I was TERRIFIED to do the 1.6.1.24 upgrade because I know it is very hard to get anyone to help you in this forum if anything goes wrong. And it looks like I was justified in being terrified as I cannot even find a fix for something that has obviously been a problem for a very long time. Is there anybody out there that can help with this error message. If not I am stuck on 1.6.1.10 forever. Thank you. Kathleen
  9. Hello, My problem is with a template, not a module, and I didn't modify it, it had problems from the moment I installed it. But whether it is a module or a template, if it doesn't work correctly you should be able to discuss it with Prestashop and have them take you seriously. I am sure all of us who sell products using these templates and modules refund our customs that are not satisfied with a purchase. If you purchased using PayPal you could dispute the purchase. That is what I am going to do if Prestashop don't help. I am going to let the developer know first though, in the hope they will reverse their decision and refund the transaction. Thanks for replying.
  10. It wasn't A bug fix, it was multiple bugs that needed fixing. And if they had of fixed them before selling it to me I wouldn't be out $150!
  11. Hello, I purchased a premium template about a month ago, only to find that it was full of errors. From the minute I installed it I had to disable ProductComments to remove the 500 error and get into the back office. I then received multiple errors when working on the megamenu. The develop eventually provided me with a fix, only to find an error in the fix. I repaired that error myself, but with at least 3 other errors, I decided I could not trust this template to a live site (thank goodness I was only testing it in WAMP). The developer of course refused a refund unless I went live with the template so they could see it, which didn't make any sense to me, but I could not trust my web site to a template with so many errors. I contacted Prestashop twice telling them of my situation and requested a refund, but I have received no reply. I have since purchased another template that is working well. I have purchased many modules over the years and feel very let down by Prestashop! I made a screen copy of every error, so I have that to back up my request for a refund. Thanks
  12. Hello Nishith, Thank you for replying. I am working on the fact that you think this is a css problem. If I cannot fix it I am happy for you to take a look. I will message you the store URL. Thanks Kathleen
  13. I am experiencing a problem with the Productcomments module which I am using in a custom module and I cannot figure out how to fix it. The problem is with the star rating in the Productcomment form itself. This form works perfectly in a localhost environment, but not on a live server, see images 1 and 2 for wamp results. Image 2 is from Chromes Inspect. On the live server it is showing no stars, just radio buttons, and no delete button for removing stars. See images 3 and 4 for live server results. Image 4 is from Chromes Inspect. Disabling the link to the following 2 files in the controller, recreates the problem on the local server which would suggest that the problem lies in the links to these two files on the live server, however I have checked all links to these files and they are correct, as are the permissions for these files. jquery.rating.pack.js productcomments.js This problem occurs with all 1.6 versions I have tested. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Kathleen
