  1. Hi ! i tried many permutations and nothing worked. copied to the root, and linked to CSV- IMAGE UPOAD message FAIL Copied to a folder ( i created in the root) and linked to CSV - IMAGE UPOAD message FAIL What did work, was to go to my themes (img) folder and upload there as suggested and copied my shops url and included the exact folder directory .... this was successful. i am not sure why the others did not work but this did!thank you ! For anybody else NOTE its important that you go to your themes IMG folder and dump files there, as suggested above by our friend here :-) I have not tried creating a separate folder here(in the IMG folder to see if this will work as well) .....to organise cleanly....
  2. Anyone please help . i have tried to FTP to my Prestacloud root . the problem here..( how do i get the URL?) i have tried Googledrive with a shared URL the problem here ( the images show up as question marks next to my store ..) Images are about 2.8mb each ( i also tried with very small siz 500kb) i even opened a ticket and the answer came back was totally not what i was asking....( in the lines of...here is the self help page......) i went there a million times and my luck isnt helping me to find the answer to where on presta cloud do i host my images for the CSV to extract from. i have noticed, in the backoffice when you do manual uploads, there is an option for you to FTP to a particular address....the thing is when i FTP into my account with filezilla...i dont see these folders /path anywhere ... what am i missing ? ( See below the directory address) i created the import folder at my root...that didnt work either "Only UTF-8 and ISO 8859-1 encodings are allowed. You can also upload your file via FTP to the following directory: /homez.106/pca8915111/www//import/" do i have to create the whole address starting with /homez.106.........? also if so, whats the url to enter in my CSV ? sorry guys, i am a complete mess and a noob in so many ways..and your help is greatly appreciated ..anyone...
  3. Dont mean to hijack your post but this is the same thing that will happen to me. After i figure out how to in the forst place. May i ask how or where you are hosting your images? I have thousands of images and i do not want to upload manually....i am also using a csv . Regardless i hope you find a solution.
  4. Guys, i have finally managed to get the hang of Prestashop( or so i think) i have created CSV file using template. Categories and products all done! Next is to upload images. i have searched many places but there seems to be lacking a decent guide. i have over a tousand images on my pc. So how do i get it to batch upload? i need to enter a url in the product csv.....i understand this. Do i understand correctly that once i enter the url and assuming everything else is correct, prestashop will then automnatically download and attach these images according to what i have mapped in my CSV ?? If this is correct, i ask the next and the main question, how do i get a url ????? do i have to upload this somewhere first before i can transfer all images ???? Do i need to go to upl;oad all to googel drive or drop box etc? please help i really do not want to manuayy upload. Someone mentioned using FTP.......will this work ??? i upload to my themes folder...and copy the address and enter that in the CSV.....????? ( https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/430503-uploading-product-images-via-ftp/) Will i have to delete this contents after i had uploaded all ??? is there like a limit on the storage ??? please help...
