  1. Rather than waste more of your time I've just PM'd you access details. I greatly appreciate you help and am happy to pay you for your time.
  2. After enabling dev mode the error is now (using your updated ObjectModel.php) "Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0"
  3. Unfortunately this didn't work for me. Can you clarify what you mean by the following? "First, you need to check that in you ddbb tables value for not cover images is NULL on ps_image and ps_image_shop." If you look at the attached screen none of fields for column cover image is "null". Should I change them all to null? Thanks
  4. @Miss_Strangelove Thanks so much for the quick and helpful response - I'll report back shortly..
  5. I'm really struggling with this issue now on a site that was uploading images fine and has suddenly stopped. I've reviewed all permissions, applied the suggested MySQL "fixes". Can you elaborate on what changes you made to the "Objectmodel.php formatfields function"?
  6. Well it took a week (which is an improvement) but it finally reset itself back to "Force Compilation". Any other suggestions as to how I might hard-code this in place?
  7. That's done - I'll watch with curiosity to see if it makes this setting stick Many thanks for your help Nemo1
  8. Thanks Nemo - I'll try that but I don't appear to have table with that name! Where in the DB should that be?
  9. When I set the smarty settings to "Never Compile.." or "Recompile if templates have been updated" it stays like this for a while but then, weirdly.. within 24hrs if I go back into the admin I see that smarty has once again defaulted to "Force Compilation" (with resulting slow load times). Any idea what might be causing this - or how I could force/hard-code the setting in place? Many thanks Site: PrestaShop™ 1.6.0.14 Upgraded using One click upgrade.
  10. Same issues here on 1.6.0.11. Admin is unusable for large numbers of products. Prestashop was always sluggish but this makes it a dog.
  11. @avrilev Sorry for opening an old post but I have the exact same requirement. Did you ever find a workable solution for this? Thanks - David
  12. @agenceweb74 Just wanted to thank you for this fix which worked perfectly for my upgrade. Many thanks!
