  1. The problem with that is that the url will change to mysite.com/category/product.htm to mysite.com/product.htm and all the links to that url have to be redirected which will make them lose a bit of their value. So preferably I'd like to leave the url structure as it is and only delete the link in the menu.
  2. For a shop with only 4 products (see my signature) the category page doesn't show any more product then the homepage. Because of this I'd like to remove the link to the category page from the menu to prevent distraction. This seems like an easy thing to do, but I can't find the correct code that I need to remove to achieve this. Does anybody know where to look?
  5. I think I know what caused the problem! Some time ago I wanted to change the position of the order button. To do this I followed the directions of an other forum member in this thread:http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/111723/ I added the order button in the same class as the price, maybe that's why the cart is disappearing. That there is some function in the cart that calls to a class that isn't existing anymore.
  6. I can't recall any recently added module. Apart from the addstuff module, but for the sake of testing I've disabled it temporarily and the problem remains. What I did add recently is mouseflow tracking, but the problem was there before I added this. The Ajax cart is activated in the backoffice, how do you know this isn't working properly? Maybe there is some problem here. Edit: When I check all the page requests with Firebug after I add a hdmi cable to the cart I see that there is a page request to http://www.ruconnected.nl/15-hdmi-kabel.html and that page then 301's to http://www.ruconnected.nl/kabels/15-hdmi-kabel.html. Could this maybe be the issue? I think that some part of the cart requests that page.
  7. I had prevented the ddaccordion.js from loading in the header, but I can't seem to remember why. At the moment the ddaccordion can load again, the page doesn't seem to be refreshing anymore. Still the problem with the disappearing cart remains...
  8. When someone adds a product to their cart, their should come a popup with their cart and the buttons to check-out or continue shopping. This has worked fine for quite a while. But recently after adding something to your cart the popup shows but after that the page immediately refreshes and the popup is gone. I can’t remember that I changed something that could’ve caused this. So I don’t really know how to fix the problem. Does anyone know a way to fix this? The url of the store is: http://www.ruconnected.nl/ I've also posted the problem here: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/117905/general_discussion/cart_doesnt_stay_open_after_adding_a_product without much success. Is there a developer or coder that could help me with my problem? I'm willing to pay off-course.
  9. Doesn't anybody know a fix for this problem? Prestashop 1.3.1.1 is used. If I need to give more information to get the problem more clear please let me know.

  13. We got another great review yesterday, this time on an international site. This is their conclusion: Here you can read the whole article: http://www.monoandstereo.com/2011/06/ru-connected-fine-audiovideo-affordable.html
  14. At the moment the design is quite busy, try to keep things as minimal as possible and give the focus to your products. Now if I get to your homepage the attention goes to all sorts of things, twitter, free shipping the cart. But not to the products and those are the ones you should promote. All the other things should be just extra or to give a customer the final push. I think the theme and the colors are ok, but there are some inconsistencies or minor flaws. For example: the top navigation isn't rounded at the right side, there are only three "aanbevolen producten" so the spot on the right is empty, not all the colors are consistent and you are using the default favicon. You are on the right track I guess but the store could use some work in my opinion. Edit: "Kaart lezers" should be one word.
