  1. Hey all, I am trying to install the newest version of Prestashop and I can get all the way through to the Store Installation step. I have attached a screen shot to show how far I am able to get. It seems like it gets hung-up on Creating Default Shop and Languages. I am using one.com server, I have tried setting my shop out of the United States and out of UK (just to see if that would do anything). Am I possibly missing something? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Thank you, I tried to turn on the Error Reporting per the instructions on the link you provided. I edited the .php in both FTP (FileZilla) as well as through the Host Control Panel (One.com) and I am unable to get any error to appear anywhere. Should I be looking some where specific (other than on the blank white page that appears?) Maybe it is possible my host isn't up to running PS.... but they had suggested I use PS because it is one of the only webstores compatible.
  3. Hi all, I have been working on a webstore through PrestaShop over the past few months and am really enjoying it (look forward to going live once I get a few things figured out). I was experiencing some issues with PayPal and when I saw an upgrade was available for PrestaShop I thought "cool! maybe this will help fix my issue!"... well now I can't upgrade. I have Installed and tried to use the 1-Click Upgrade in PrestaShop. When I click on it from Advanced Parameters the browser thinks for a bit and then just brings me to a blank, white page. It essentially crashes and I have to re-login to PrestaShop. I have also downloaded the file, uploaded it using Filezilla, and have attempted to Upgrade in the same fashion I installed originally (new subdomain) but I can get as far as to Accept the Terms and Agreement before it also gives me the white blank page and I have to re-direct to the beginning. When I first Installed PrestaShop on my server it took me 3 or 4 tries before it would stop failing in the process, to fix it I just un-installed all the files and then re-uploaded them (took several days). And I have tried this again this time around, I have tried to re-upload the file about 3 times now - gave up for 2 weeks and tried again today... same results. I have also tried using both Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers (fully updated). I have tried multiple computers, I have also tried turning off my anti-virus just in case that was blocking somthing somehow. I have a feeling I am just missing something. Any insight, tips, or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  4. I re-posted this in the PayPal Module section of teh forum (I hadn't seen it before posting this!) I am not sure how to remove my post from here, so I apologize for posting in the worng area!
  5. Hi all, I have been testing my site and the checkout process using a Sandbox PayPal account. Orders have been going through smoothly with 2 exceptions: 1) If I have tax enabled the order won't actually go through (if it is shipping to a taxable state). I can go through the whole PayPal process and the charge will show in my PalPal account, but rather than taking me back to the confiirmation page it takes me to the Guest tracking page and the items are still in my cart and there is no order present in Prestashop. 2) If I set-up a separate Delivery and Invoice address, only the Invoice address transfers into PayPal for payment. This has cause 2 issues - A ) if it shipping to a taxable state, PayPal does not register this and does not calculate/charge for shipping B ) after entering credit card information (using guest checkout in PayPal) you are taken to a review page which shows the shipping address as your Invoice address (not delivery address). Is there a configuration somewhere I may have missed or over-looked? Is this an issue with the PayPal module possibly? Thank you for any insight!!! I am excited to get my site live and this is my final step!

  7. Hi everyone, new to Prestshop here so take it easy on me ;-) I have been working with the look of my store front using the Theme Maker add-on by Pibblu. I am not sure if this has caused my problem or not. My problem - the header on my site is not properly formatted. See the attached image. Before it was a horizontal menu with drop downs. the only thing that I think I may have done was under Themes I attempted to create a Theme from scratch and made it the default for a mere minute (until I realized I missed something) before going back to the default-bootstrap theme. It was after that that I noticed the Header was not right. Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this without having to completely start from scratch? Thanks!!!
