No need for a module. Simply put the code into footer.tpl of your theme and it's done.

Just install it and then you can simply put javascript in head or body.
Compatible with: All versions later than Prestashop1.7.1.0

you can easily write a very simple PS module, then you can hook it where you want and need it.  We write small  modules like that to inert various things 1) one it's .doced 2) it can be installed/uninstalled easily.
