Very disappointed with performance and SEO

Recommended Posts

Dear PS Team,
I m using Magento and open cart. I had come for test Prestashop. I saw Here is SEO URL comes with {id}. Also Here is no keyword option.
Also basic modules like PayPal Payments Standard, reCAPTCHA are paid module:P.
Remove IDs & Numbers for SEO Friendly URL should be in core.

Thirtybees already does that, and more. Lighter than magento and with more features than opencart

@NemoPS as far as I know Thirtybees advertisement is not allowed in ps forums. I have seen such according to what @Dh42 mentioned in another post. So be careful dude to avoid any legal consequences.

There's a free official module for Paypal and free modules for Recaptcha and for removing IDs from URL.

What do you mean by "no keyword option"?

Hi joseantgv,
Can you provide those module links, please for Prestashop 1.7

Also, Meta Keyword not allowed for Prestashop 1.7. Here is no option for the keyword.

Thank you

It's not PayPal Payments Standard. Its PayPal Express Checkout https://addons.prestashop.com/en/payment-card-wallet/1748-paypal-braintree-official.html

This module is NOT intended to work on PS 1.7.x https://github.com/bogdanmoisin/prestashop-clean-urls
I m going to test reCAPTCHA.Thanks for reCAPTCHA other modules. It will help users.

They Integrate paypal business and partner with paypal so prestashop get affiliate and get some money by affiliation with paypal.

PayPal Standard module no longer maintain. Im thinking back to meganto 2.
Because after review the core is free.but other are not free.

prestashop like provide a good looking car without break. If need break buy from them. Otherwise run your car in your own risk . Ha ha nice idea.

Paypal is acutally free. Friendly URL and recaptcha are  unfortunately paid Modules but Prestashop somehow needs to make cash. I do agree that some features should be core.

I have magento and prestashop I like both.
Magento already spent around 15.000 euros with 1500 products.
Pretashop already spent around 1000 euros with 40,000 products.

Both do the same, and prestashop programming is easier than magento, both work well.

I purchase  a module for magento that costs 115 € and bought one equal for prestashop that costs 35 €

Hope this helps.

Every time I hear merchant have 10 000+ product I think of fake news.

There is not enough of time in the world to manage that many products and put love in it. Especially not with just a 1000 euros. Customers need good product information. You're business model is unsustainable.

Just because you don't make money online doesn't mean that others don't, don't talk about what you don't know.

People who speak by speaking are completely ignorant.

as I said earlier prestashop is easier to program and simpler unlike magento because it only spent that money.

Everything you say is ridiculous, but that's it.

I will not get into discussions with people who know little about online stores, newbies who think small.

My prestashop catalog, which for you is fake, has 46000 products in 7 languages
