Where is email address for order entries and system notifications

When a new order comes or globaly when an order status change prestashop check in order->status if you active email sending for this status, if yes prestashop get the template name and search in mails folder for this name, when getting the template, prestashop execute the function addwithmail in order class to send the appropriate mail to customer.

Hi Farouk. Thanks for your answer, but i dont quite get it. 

i found the order status page. but where is it actually defined, which status generates an email to the administrator of the webshop? and where do i set who is the administrator?

Edit: my question is specifically about messaging to the administration of the webshop, not about the messages to the customer.

ok... but there is no email confirmation of a new order sent to the admin?  i've managed a prestashop before, and i always got a confirmation email on a new order (and other admin-events). but that was an older 1.6 shops and i can't remember, how we did this.

it seems to me, there must be a admin notificiation on new order by default?
