Auto fill features on new product listing ???

As shown in my attachment, we are using one of the Features boxes to show Stock Code which is the Product ID (assigned by Prestashop).

This number is generated by the system when I enter a new product, however it doesn't show anywhere on screen until I go back into the Product Catalog. Meaning it is necessary to go back into the listing to add this after creating it.

Is it possible to automatically populate this field with the relevant Product ID when the product is saved?

My preference is something I can add into the predefined values, as I don't have access to the SQL, however if that is the only option I can possibly get the admin to have a look into it. (please keep in mind that my admin has limited SQL knowledge as well).
