Server is asking for Authentication key on checkout (popup)

Hi. So im getting this popup when i have DIBS checkout activated. first i thought it might be an issue with the module. but i have no idea how on earth to start checking this particular problem. it happens only on the last step when selecting payment method. i tried reading about similar issues, but i dont think any of the issues relate to this particular matter.

If i disable DIBS, then i do not get this issue at all. i am also having some random ERR_CONNECTION_RESET problems. No idea if this is related.

Hoping anyone here have seen similar issues and knows how to solve this. Sadly i am not an expert on these types of problems. Thanks in advance
