[SOLVED] Fatal error: Class 'Validate'

Hi there,

I made 2 Backups one my PC & the server of Validate.php and Customer.php then made the changes as per here:

uploaded them and get a white page so ran Debug and got this :

Fatal error: Class 'Validate' not found in /home/compluse/public_html/classes/shop/Shop.php on line 646

Tried both copies of the backup and still the error, it is 100% the original file now,

Any ideas what to do?

1/ What is your version ?

2/ Post here or pastbin classes/Validate.php and override/classes/Validate.php

3/ What kind of editor are you using

Thank you for the reply,

Version: 1.6.1.3

This file on the server right now with the error is below as Validate.php

and the modified one I uploaded and then removed is 2Validate.php

There are no files in overide/classes/ apart from index.php

I used Filezilla and Notepad++ to modify the file, the original was left on the server but renamed.

If the files are exactly as posted here there should be no problem.

The only thing I can think might have done this, there was a browser logged in to the Backend I found after changing the files.

I am having the exact same problem as described by complusit.

Tried different PHP versions and still the same.

Any ideas? 

Prestashop version: 1.6.1.7

No overide classes

This file is the vanilla one. Cannot be the cause of your problem.

That is the file that is right now on the server.

I tried to rename the original file, it did not work, so I tried to upload the file of one of my backups, same problem.

I also tried uploading the file from the original repository, nothing works.

Was an garbage into cache/class_index.php

Fixed it, then used the patch122.php. You are now fully patched, and operational
