Hello, it's seem the problem is your server is gone away before prestashop.zip is totally unzipped.

Did you try to install it locally or on a hosted server ?

Did you check if your configuration is compliant with PrestaShop ?

Did you check error logs ?

Hi,

I used a remote server, php7.1. No access to the php.ini.

MySql is activated and database created.

Error log is not showing any PrestaShop related errors, only some warnings about my site, missing CSS references.

Problem is your Varnish Cache, the error is Error 429 Too Many Requests

PrestaShop doesn't work well with Varnish Cache by default, it require some more configuration and modifications to work.

ok, and how can PrestaShop be configured? Or can I disable Varnish Cache?

I tried to create .htaccess file with:
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Cache-Control "max-age=0, private, no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate"
</IfModule>

That is not working, but to be honest, I am not sure what I am doing here...

Varnish Cache need to be disable on your hosted server configuration. Try to contact your hosting provider to get assistance, I don't use Varnish Cache personally.
