Presta 1.7.5.1 many of products moved to home category after deleting empty test category

Hello!

It's my first post at this forum, so I'm sorry if doing something wrong. 

I've wasted many hours on assigning products to categories on my shop. I had also one test category. Category was empty without products. When I removed this category, most of products were assigned to home category, and presta marked home as default category for this products. So I loose my category assignement on products.

I had same situation few times. My categories were imported from CSV. Products assigned by backoffice, and all only with one default category. After that I re-assigned my products to correct categories, made backup of database and checked -same situation. After that I've added new category, then delete and almost all products went to home. Tested with all options during deletion of category. No difference. 

My ideas are:

- my category tree is broken
- there is bug in prestashop on category remove

What do you think about my issue. It's confusing to remember that my shop crashes product categories when category is deleted.
