Reducing the height of the header

I would like to reduce the height of the header, any ideas a s to how I go about achieving this?

I would also like to have the logo in the header click through to another URL as opposed to the default home page - all ideas and help is of course massively appreciated.

I would change the file 'global.css' under /themes/YOUR_THEME/css in the following manner:

.header-container {
  background: #fff;
   height: 87.123456%; }

For the 2nd questions the modules to Configure is the blockbanner module.

You cna change from the css file.

the css file location is  themes/YOUR_THEME/assets/css/custom.css

In regard to The Block Banner Module used to change the URL of my header logo - where is the Block Banner?

It's a module. From Admin, go to modules, search blockbanner and then configure.
