Hello everyone, I'm new on PrestaShop community :)

I want to create a commercial website for my friend,

I want to learn skills so that's why I will try to put it on a RaspBerry Pi 3B+,

So, I wanna know if the Raspberry Pi 3B+ has enough configuration to run Prestashop with something like 100 users per day.

Thank you !

Hi

and welcome to the forum. And what interesting question it is :)

Searching a bit shows few people already tried that but some time ago

And think it may work but it would be bit slow. Great experiment it would be for sure.

But for modern shops lately even shared hosting is not recommended.  Users demand fast loading pages and for

running business and shop online you need as much power as you can afford.

i followed this tutorial to make it work

https://www.osradar.com/how-to-install-prestashop-in-debian-9/

be careful, i had a problem to access mysql so don't forget to put SUDO before configurate it.

sudo /usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation

either it works correctly if u follow the tutorial

Well, i'm back ! So it's done, and it's working pretty finely.

There are some issues but It's because I'm newbie in website creation.

I want to share it but I can't because of safety, sorry.

So if someone could help me a bit, I expose my problem :

I bought a dns of ovh (www.****-shop.com)

I made an ghost redirecting of my IP but it still apears when i want to click on a object of my website.

I changed in SOE URL the configuration with the name of my website. It doesn't work at all. All my folders are broken.

Thanks for help :)
