Module insert on center column manufacturer site

Hello out there,

 

I want to have a 'new product slider' shown on the center column inside the manufacturer section.

I've installed the module Hook manager from the site mypresta.eu and created a custom hook called center.  

I succesfully hooked the module I want to the new hook / position and then I want to show the module at the center column thereby I use 

{hook::exec('center')}

inside manufacturer-list.tpl

I save and upload the file - but nothing appears. What have I done wrong?

Inside the tpl you have to call the hook using {hook h="center"}
