New with Prestashop ... and transaltions!!

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm new with Prestahop,

can you confirm that if I need to translate a module I have to made the md5 of the string using tools like:

www.md5.li or www.md5.cz

Is this correct ?

But the "original string" is always the english version ?  What If I have a module not in english language ?

Sorry I am a little bit confused!!!

Put the english terms in the module and then use the normal translation system to translate in any language you want. Prestashop will create translation files in your module folder automatically that can be deployed with your module.
