Roger Elmore Posted January 30, 2019 Share Posted January 30, 2019 I've been having difficulties of late with the earlier version. My modules are NOT showing up on the Modules page. Also, I'm getting something called, a backwards compatibility error when tring to work with PayPal couponing. I'd like to update the software to the current version but don't want to lose evrything in my shop and start over. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rhobur Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 Your best hope is to keep the data, so you'd better perform incremental upgrades, latest 1.4 -> latest 1.5 -> latest 1.6 ->latest 1.7. You'll end up with the 1.7.5.0 working with default theme and modules. Your third-party modules will be disabled (you can do this from start) along with your current theme. Then hunt for the current 1.7+ versions of those disabled modules and install them.
