Products visible in fonction of date

We are using prestashop for our farm products. We want to add the possibility to our clients to order our vegetable online. Every saturday, we update the quantity available for the upcoming week for each product and clients can order till tuesday night.  Right now, we have a googlesheet script that deal with this but we would like to have everything under the "same roof".

Is there a way with or without addon to make that one category of products become unavailable a few days per week? Could a cron job do it?

Yes, it could be done by cron job, however you will need development skills to create that cron job. 

If there is a module that does what you need, it would be cheaper to buy that module than to hire a developer.

Sorry, for not recommending any module, but I don't exactly understand your needs.
