Hello, i got this huge problem in my installation:

PHP Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect.

File(/home/user/public_html/modules//index.php/index.php.php) is not within the allowed path(s):

(/home/user/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/user/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 988

ALL i can see is a double slash after module and
a directory index.php (sounds wierd) with a .php.php file (sounds crazy) :)

If someone can help me i’d be very glad,

what shall i do pratically speaking as i’m not a great programmer to fix this mess?

Thanks a lot in advance.
