Change Default Currency to CDN Canadian

Hi,

I have install Prestashop 1.7.X from an Web Hosting Installator "Installatron". I wasn't able to choose the default country and from what i've read on other post, we need to choose Canada to have the Canadian currency. I install the language 'French' and default currency are Euro.

It was not an option available for me on the installation.

Is there a way to change the default currency and adding the Canadian currency into Prestashop 1.7

back office-->international-->localization

Localization pack you want to import (import Canada)

 

then on same page scroll down and you can set default country Canada,  default currency the loon.....

note if your products prices were using another currency they will now be reflected in cad...so adjustments to prices might be required.
