Add a new column in CATEGORIES (back office)

I wish to add a new column to categories table in the admin panel , where it will display number of products under that category , I searched a lot but without luck if anyone can help even by linking me to some useful topics or threads , and thanks  (I'm using prestashop 1.6.1.13)

I can't remember having seen anything like that. You can get something similar with Prestools. It is free.

When I said that I hadn't seen it I meant that I hadn't seen it in the forum in all the years that I am using Prestashop.

Since you are the only one bothered to answer me , and I hope this ain't much how could i do it using Prestools?

In Prestools:

 - choose category edit

 - in the field list select #prods and #active and press search

 - you will now see two columns: prodcount and activecount. You can click on the figures in the prodcount column and then you see in Product Edit the products themselves
