Create Master Product with list of sub-products

Hi,

I am quiet rookie at prestashop and would like to create one main product which would automatically collect sub-products.

For example create one product called Master PC configuration basic which can be selected and automatically, there would be a list under of elements with their respective prices (ex Motheboard x 50usd, processor x 90 usd etc).

Does anyone know if this is possible and how with prestashop?

The closest thing in PrestaSop is packs, but in packs you can't select type you motherboard. 

However there is a module specially for this case https://addons.prestashop.com/en/cross-selling-product-bundles/8950-pc-creator.html

I never used it, so I don't know if it's good.

Another approach is using attribute combinations. But the problem with them is that you easily get too much combinations and pages become too big and slow. As a rule of thumb 500-1000 combinations is the max. Of course you should test it for yourself.

An example: 5 cases x 6 processor options x 7 memory options x 4 harddisk options x 2 SSD options = 5x6x7x4x2 = 1680 combinations.
