Error 500 when trying to log in: mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 31 seconds

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I've been experiencing some sever login issues with a website i'm working on.

When trying to login i get the default error 500 after a while, this however does not happen all the time but seeming at random for a couple of hours. The front office works fine even when this bug is occurring.

Turning on error reporting gives me the same error.

The Apache error logs got me the following to error related with the login page:

[fcgid:warn] [pid XXXX] [client XXXX] mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 31 seconds, referer: https://XXXX/adminXXXX/index.php?controller=AdminLogin&token=XXXX&redirect=AdminDashboard
[core:error] [pid XXXX] [client XXXX] End of script output before headers: index.php, referer: https://XXXX/admin8003/index.php?controller=AdminLogin&token=XXXX&redirect=AdminDashboard

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
