install presta remotely to local

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to install my site remotely to local but after several attempts continue to report "error 500".

The steps I followed are as follows:

1. Copied FTP to the htdocs folder of Xampp;

2. Created in Database with same ID and PASSW of the one in the network;

3. exported the DB and imported into xampp;

4. With phpmyadmin I modified the parameters inside the ps_shop_url table as follows: domain -> localhost; domain_ssl-> localhost; physical_uri -> / nome_della_cartella_in_xampp /;

5. deleted the contents of the .haccess file.

Reading in other web sistes, I have also to edit the file config / settings.inc.php but in the version of Presta 1.7.4.2 that file has this content:

What can I do, for 5 days I have tried but nothing to do !!!

please activate debug mode and see the details of the 500 error message. Double check if folders have correct write access rights.

The new config file is called parameters.php, located in app/config
Anyway I suggest you put the side in a subfolder in xampp, like /presta/
