How to Install Sales Tracking Code into confirmation.tpl

I am currently trying to install sales tracking code for two Australian shopping comparison sites. I know that the code has to be installed into confirmation.tpl but i'm not sure which variables to use for the required values.

This is an example of the tracking code:

<!-- comparisonshopingsite.com.au sales tracking system --> 

<!-- End comparisonshopingsite.com.au -->

Note: I have replaced the values with xxxx and the name of the comparison site because I have a couple that need to be installed and the code is mostly the same for both.

Basically, I just need to get the total order price and the order number and place it dynamically into the tracking code. shopid is just my merchant id so I don't need this to be dynamically inserted.

Has anyone successfully installed similar tracking code? What variables do I need to use for these values?
