hstrom
Hi, We have an issue in Prestashop 1.7.4.3: Every product turns up in every category... If I check a category list, every book is in it, if I go to a product details page I see that the book has another category in the breadcrumb. If I click on the breadcrumb to load that category page, the same books turn up in that category as well, and so forth. The products does only have 1 category marked in admin, as it's head category. Please share your thoughts and insights on this... With kind regards, - Johan.
NemoPS
Can you share some screenshots of it? Are you using the faceted search module in where it displays products from subcategories?
hstrom
Hi, thanks for your reply! Here you got some screenshots - as you can see the same books (the whole catalogue) turns up on EVERY category: Yes, we are using faceted search module. Loading each category page is taking VERY long (I guess because it renders around 258.100 products each time... As you also can notice the Category Tree module on the left hand is empty - this is another strange issue, My categories is set as "visible" and I have set the Category Tree module to use root "Home category" with depth "0". Maybe it's related? See my forum post here. With kind regards, - Johan. Edited October 26, 2018 by hstrom (see edit history)
hstrom
Very strange - this is solved... I added manually a new category and suddenly it all was fixed! A strange bug, I guess...
