ScooterCk
Hi, I have been contacted by my hosting company stating that the current version of PHP 7.0 is ending shortly and I need to upgrade to PHP 7.1. If I change the current site 1.6.1.20 to PHP 7.1, I get a 500 server error on FO and the website will not run. Can anybody please confirm if any of 1.6 version are compatible with 7.1 php Respect Scooterck
Rolige
Hello: It should be: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Installing+PrestaShop#InstallingPrestaShop-Step3&4:Systemcompatibility&Storeinformation You must activated debug mode and try to change PHP version again. It should probably be a requiered PHP extension you should active with the PHP version. If you try to install a fresh Prestashop shop the installation wizard will tell you which required extension you are missing. Regards
musicmaster
I agree with Rolige that you should enable development mode (https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information-blank-page-500-internal-server-error/). It may be a missing php module as he writes. It may also be some Prestashop module or theme that gives problems. You don't write from which version you come: the difference between 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 is big. For checking php module requirements you can use Prestools (Tools&Stats->Server Settings). It is free. For the long term you might also consider Thirty Bees, a Prestashop fork that aims to continue the 1.6 line.
