Statuses Duplicated

Hi

I have upgraded my shop using the one click upgrade, from 1.5.2 to 1.6.1. Mostly this has been successful as I have also upgraded the operating system it sits on. One problem that I would like to cure is a duplicate entry for "On Backorder" in statuses. This (I think) is causing duplicate back end emails of out of stock products. Any help on removing either the original (or new) status would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Geoff

Hi,

Any issue in deleting order status manually from the backend (admin)?

Go into admin panel & then go Orders -> Statues to delete the duplicate status.

Okay. In that case, edit the order status & uncheck the "Send an email" option & check if it fixes your problem OR not?

I believe the module below controls mail flow, not the status settings.

Hi. After trawling the web I see that this is an unsolvable problem unless one alters the database manually. 

I am going to live with this problem for now as by the sound of it even if I built a new shop I would bring back the error when importing data. Sad to see this occur when following the upgrade path.
