Manually adding a new customer

Hi guys!!
I'm currently working on a website that will soon need an ecommerce corner, so we decided for using prestaShop. What I'm actually trying to do, is to automatically add a prestashop account when someone create an account on my website. I'd simply like performing this registration using the data provided by the user in my website's registration form. What should I do now?

I was thinking on something like creating a SQL query and running it for adding the data. Do you have any other solution or suggestion? Thanks in advance =]
