Alberto Oliveira
Hello, I had to manual upgrade my installation of PS from 1.7.2.0 to 1.7.3.3. 1 click upgrade did not work, hanging every time before updating database, i tried many fixes none work. I did follow a manual upgrade guide here ( cant paste link ) . And now the backoffice looks like the attached file, but only in some pages. Some other pages are OK. Front office looks as it should, with a few changes that could be version related. Any help? Is there a way to reset layouts/themes or force a "reinstall" ? Thanks Edited June 26, 2018 by Alberto Oliveira clarify title (see edit history)
JEnrique
Try to clean shop cache, Advanced parameters -> Performance. If this not work try also clean web browser cache, press ctrl + f5.
Alberto Oliveira
DId not work. I was trying to install some addons by prestashop and i got this error: " Error! Cannot install module productscategory. The version of your module is not compliant with your PrestaShop version." Since i did a manual upgrade is it possible that my Modules part was not upgraded ? What should i do ? Can i export my products, costumers, and other shop definitions and make a clean install of the new version?
JEnrique
The most of modules wont be compatible, you have to install the version of the module compatible with PrestaShop 1.7 if it exists, some modules could not have compatible version with 1.7. Alberto Oliveira
Even if I was browsing the addon in my backoffice? I thought it only showed compatible ones, doesn't make much sense non compatible
JEnrique
The modules showed in the modules tab of your PrestaShop 1.7 backoffice of course are comptaible with 1.7, I mean third party modules you had in your 1.6 shop, it could hasn't 1.7 version, the basic PrestaShop modules has it definetly.
