Give product attributes a new URL not just a product#...

I want to make sure that attributes on my products  have a new URL so you can visit the site without javascript and so that changing the attribute results in a refresh. 

Now attributes just makes a product#attribute-id+name.

I have made a module that creates the attribute product sites, that we use for feeds, but the logic behind the attribute system is what i don't understand.

I have seen many modules that splits products up on category sites, but not any that does the same on the product site.
