vladus Posted April 17, 2018 Share Posted April 17, 2018 We have a website that has a fill-in contact page where customers can email us with this form. It seems it's being used to spam out Russian emails. I do not have a Captcha on this page. This started a month ago and I've since removed the page completely. But for some reason emails are still being sent from our email address with this form. I'm not too familiar with the back end of Prestashop but I can follow instructions! jetx Posted April 18, 2018 Share Posted April 18, 2018 Interesting. What is your version of PS? How is your prestashop mail being handled (PHP mail), or SMTP (TLS, SSL)? Core module? If your mailer module has a vulnerability then likely your database will be quite infected with various scripts, bit of a pain to clean, easier to just nuke and replace (if you've been compromised through a vulnerability in your mailer).
