It seems it is a nice module and thank you for posting it.

But I think that chmod 777 for /media folder can be a security issue.

Is just my opinion.

Anyone checked the code in more detail and can post their opinion?

Thanks, /media only use to store video files. you can change it to 775 or 755 if you want to do this
