Just a quick update, using commercial (and affordable) MaxMind IP databases we are seeing 99.8-99.9% resolution rate.   This allows our clients to confidently present by country catalog.

Hi there,

we use this module for some time and as some time went from the last database update, we wanted to do it. We logged in and in module configuration & we tried to download the current file to put it on a server (which is necessary for this module). But the link to database download does not work anymore. Any idea what is wrong? We need to use this module and we cannot update the database anymore :(

MaxMind do not support any more old legacy database that comes with PrestaShop 1.6 code. And PrestaShop did not update that part yet.

You still can use current database you have, but you can not get latest updates.

But we prepared update to our module that should be available on Addons later this week. It have support for free GeoIp2 City Lite and also 

have one click install/update that free database.
