How to send a FREE module?

Recommended Posts

Mod: Vekia said that: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/233442-free-modules-list-only-valuable-and-proven-solutions-15may2017/

Dear developers
If you want to share your free module on this list, please send me PM with url to thread where you share module. Remember that module must be attached to the topic (any requests with external urls to modules will be rejected).

But we can not PM to Vekia, it is getting this error: https://postimg.org/image/5di3e8vpj/

So how to send FREE module to this forum????

We will start a NEW topic for each FREE module, Yes?

@tdsoftI don't have any problems to send PM to vekia, but perhaps of my Status as Mod.

What exactly do you want to tell/ask him ? The list is only for proofed modules. If you are new developer, so you cannot simply ask to add your module there. You need to be at first an active community member. Please read the best practice and Prestashop rules, cause there are some restrictions for advertising here: http  s://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/394100-read-first-forum-rules-and-best-practices/

Said "Members of the Community can share with everyone modules or themes they developed and give away for free. Any module or theme shared in the “Free Modules & Themes” section should be attached directly in your post."

But Vekia said "Dear developers
If you want to share your free module on this list, please send me PM with url to thread where you share module. Remember that module must be attached to the topic (any requests with external urls to modules will be rejected). "

WHY?

We do not advertising , We want upload a FREE module to forum

You missed to read the lines after, from what we can see you are not an active user with 100+ posts:

Community Modules and themes
Members of the Community can share with everyone modules or themes they developed and give away for free. Any module or theme shared in the “Free Modules & Themes” section should be attached directly in your post.
The Community makes great paid modules and themes. Members who developed product sold on their website and/or PrestaShop Addons can feature them on the forum, in the “Paid Modules & Themes” section.
Community modules and themes are only available in the General forum in English.

If you share and sell your modules or themes on the forum, you must also be active on this community forum as a helping hand for other users.

Within this section there will be no Promotional Threads, ie: "Save 35% off All Modules/Themes". This forum is not meant to be an advertising and promotional haven.

Besides the rules you need to pay attention to the headers of the forum section. Specially for the free module forum section you you will find rules summarized and explained of what we expect:

Free Forum section:

> When presenting your module or theme, we advise you to attach it directly to your post.

> The alternative is any other link as soon as it is pointing to your module or theme and you are an active contributor of the community (at least 100 posts in the forums).

> Everything else, especially misleading links or links to a marketplace home page, will be taken down.

> Remember: this forum is not an advertising hub, so take the time to also provide community support!

Paid Forum section:

> When presenting your module or theme, we advise you to provide an official addons marketplace link.

If you want to have a module added, this should be tested before by the community. Vekias list is a list of available and tested modules. Modules tested by devs, mods, and users of the forum: So (A)PROVED modules. If we don't know your module, we are not able to add it to that list.

BTW: each moderator can revise that list. There is no need to have the assistance of Vekia.

As said before: Add your free module to the "free module" forum section. If we think it is a valuable and proven module, we can add it to the list. Otherwise we can't. Prestashop is not for to be used as an advertising hub.
