[SOLVED]Tell to a friend custom module

I am building a module which allows users to suggest the shop to friends via email.

I am a testing module pretty much working on my server and now I need to integrate it with Prestashop and test it further.

This is how it works: each time a customer makes a purchase, if his email address has been suggested by another customer, that customer will get a discount (a voucher code by email) on his next order.

I would like to know which files I need to consider to send an email after an order confirmation (if some conditions are met).

Why aren't you using PrestaShop's "Customer referral" module? It lets you enter a referral email when signing up for an account and send voucher codes by email.

I do not know if it works like my client would like. Is there any documentation?
From what I read on the forum, an user needs to make a purchase before suggesting friends and this is not what my client wants.

The only documentation is on the configuration page itself. You can set the "Number of orders required to earn a discount" on the "Customer referral program".
