Prestashop Translation system : A great mystery

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to understand Prestashop's translation system, and, either I'm completely lame, or it's not fully functional...
I followed the documentation  and.... TADAM, it doesn't work...

My code in TPL :

Any ideas ?! A command to refresh translating terms ? Something for parsing PS files ?
