Optic
Hi Folks,I'm looking to add some sort of on the fly, multiple attribute price calculator. The best example of this that I've seen is here... http://clubcard.ca/product_info?c_product_id=517 I am in need of several of the same variables (I manufacture the same products). I've been trying several ways using the combinations and attributes, along with the quantity discount tool, but to no avail.Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!ThanksC.J. Optic
I`m willing to pay a couple of hundred bucks if someone can come up with a functioning solution for this.Specifically adding attributes where:Size impacts price on a per unit levelQuantity price is measured as base price (a material cost essentially per sq. inch) X quantity multiplier ( essentially the higher the multiplier, the lower the quantity ordered to ensure profit margin) X quantityOther elements would be a percentage increase in price based on the Quantity price. rocky
Topic moved - I think you are more likely to get a response for paid programming herePrestaShop v1.4 has per-unit pricing. You can see a screenshot of it here. Is that what you want or is it something different you are looking for?
Optic
What I'm looking for is somewhat more complex than this.Essentially I'm looking for Size (in general length X width) impacting price, and then quantity affecting the unit price. i.e. a 1x4" sticker is 4 square inches - that spits out a price (say $1.00 per square inch as a base price for a total of $4.00) - that price is then modified by quantity in an inverse manner - 2000 (my highest quantity) results in a unit cost of $4.00 each. 1500 quantity results in a price of $5.00 per unit, 1000 results in a price of $6.00 per unit and so on.To extend this example, if the sticker size was 1X5", resulting in 5 square inches, then the base price of $1.00 per inch would result in a base price total of $5.00 per unit (at quantity 2000).I realize this is a complex example - to put everything in really simple language, the size is selected first and that determines a base price - as you change quantity, the price per item changes. Increased quantity results in decreased price per unit.To further complicate things, I want a couple of attributes to increase the base price by a percentage (say 20% if a protective coating is selected)A decent example of this is here... http://clubcard.ca/product_info?c_product_id=517I'm COMPLETELY open to suggestions for how to make this easier and less complex. rocky
I'm wondering whether this would be possible with a combination of per-unit pricing and quantity discounts in PrestaShop. You can download the latest version of PrestaShop off SVN and install it on a test site to play around with both features to see whether you can make it do what you want. Optic
I'll give it a shot. Per unit combinations may work. Hmmm.
