jazzydan58 Posted March 23, 2018 Share Posted March 23, 2018 We are about to activate an SSL certificate on our site but I am worried about this damage this may do to our google ranking, I have checked through some older posts and they mention Google will pick up duplicate content, as the site will be served over http and https, however i found an option in our plesk settings for " Permanent SEO-safe 301 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS" if I activate this will it work ok with prestashop or could it interfere? any advice on this would be appreciated as I can't be the only one concerned with this? also for addiional modules such as google shopping/merchant will these types of links be updated automatically once SSL is activated in prestashop?
