Subcategory is overlapping or cropped

Dear Team,

Can someone help me with fixing subcategory overview?
I have some long cat names and I cannot reduce these... The text is overlapping into next cat and cropped with "..."

Is there any way to show the complete cat name without overlapping in next cat to the right or to the bottom?

 

May someone have a solution also for my second problem;

I want to remove all the thinks on the left side - see picture so that sub catecotires and items are showed in the full width of the website.

 

My shop is currenlty running in maintance mode, so I cannot provide you with access, sorry.
I'm running PrestaShop-Version 1.6.1.17
